NSUI Punjab led by president Akshay Sharma on Wednesday strongly condemned the brazen act of one Guntas Singh Dhot  of announcing an arbitrary students body at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar stating that strictest action would be initiated against those trying to misled students.
Reaffirming full authority to the GNDU panel led by University President Jagmeet Singh Dhillon announced earlier, NSUI Punjab president Akshay Sharma shared that the matter had been brought into the notice of the national authorities and strict action would be taken in this regard.
NSUI Delhi incharge Vishal Choudhary was seized of the matter and had assured exemplary exemplary punishment to those involved in this act,  Akshay stated.
Pertinenly,  NSUI Punjab had last week announced GNDU council comprising Campus Chairman Atinder Singh, Campus incharge Prabh Pannu, General Secretary Talwinder Bhullar,  and Campus president Arsh Gill.
NSUI is a democratic students body working for the welfare of students across the country, Akshay further said adding that stringent action would be ensured against anyone trying to unauthorisedly use it’s name to deceive students.
Expressing gratitude to students for their continued support, Akshay Sharma also asked GNDU campus students to not get misled by these vested interests.
