Rev. Nazir Masih, the founding Director of Chandigarh Baptist School, passed away on January 20, 2020 after a long battle with the motor neuron disease ALS. He was a prominent Christian leader in Chandigarh. His funeral will be held on Thursday, January 23 at the Christian Cemetery in Sector 25, Chandigarh at 1:00 PM. Before the funeral, his body will be displayed at the First Baptist Church on Thursday morning for all those that want to pay him their last respects.
Mr. Lawrence Malik, Advisor of the Tricity Churches Association said that the entire Christian community of the tri-city area is saddened by the loss of such a great and beloved man.
