Department of Commerce & Management & MSME-Development Institute, Ludhiana organized two days Industrial Motivational Campaign for educated youth held at DAV College Chandigarh in which Sh. R.K. Parmar and Sh. Deepak Chechi, Assistant Director, MSME expressed their views on various schemes by the Government of India for the youth to become the part of Entrepreneur. Sh. R.K. Parmar highlighted various schemes to promote the units established by women, SC and ST. Sh. Deepak Chechi discussed in detail the schemes for loan and various types of subsidies available to start a new unit in the present era. He also highlighted inactivates taken by Government to promote micro and small enterprises. Mr. Ravi Kant expressed his views on need and promotion of entrepreneurship by the youth. He motivated the youth to become job provider. Dr. Varinder Garg, OSD to President, PGIMER, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest and he expressed his views on the jurnery of sussesfull Enterprenure with the examples of Amul and Lighit Papad. He said that under the current environment youth should take maximum benefit of new initiatives taken by Government of India to promote Entrepreneurship. Dr. Pawan Sharma, Principal DAV College said that academic system should promote entrepreneurial skills and far such autonomy should be given to the colleges to make certain changes in the curriculum.

Officials of District Industrial Centres, Mohali, Scheme for National SC/ST Hub, NSIC, Manager Central Tool Room, Ludhiana, Lead Bank Manager, Chandigarh, MSME Training Institute, Beddi also discussed various schemes of their concerned department for the youth to start new unit. Mr. Ram Kumar Sharma, from KVIC, Chandigarh highlighted the initiatives taken by the Government to promote micro, small and medium units at the International Level.

The theme was presented by Dr. Preneet Rangi Randhawa and Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. Bimal Anjum. Large numbers of members of faculty and more than 100 students were present.
