Blood donation camp was organized by Rotary Club of Khalsa College (Amritsar) Technology & Business Studies Phase 3A in collaboration with Rotary Club of Mohali Midtown. This camp was organized under the chairmanship of College Principal Dr. Harish Kumari in which 54 students along with college faculty members and NNS volunteers donated blood.
The camp was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by College Principal Dr. Harish Kumari and Rotary Club of Mohali Midtown President Amarjeet Singh Virk. After which the blood donors donated blood. A team of doctors had come to the camp under the leadership of Dr. Roli Agarwal from Rotary and Blood Bank Society Resource Centre.
On this occasion, College Principal Dr. Harish Kumari appreciated the camp organized by the College Club and boosted the morale of the students. She said that there is no greater donation than donating blood. Active participation of students in the camp is the first step in promoting social responsibility.
