Ranjit Singh, a player from the Budo Kai do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India has been selected for the 3rd Global Open Taekwon-Do Championships to be held on April 22nd and 23rd, 2023 in Melbourne, Australia. The players of this organization have been shining bright on many sporting platforms.
Ranjit Singh is a 12 times national gold medalist, who won a Gold medal at the National Sikh Games 2022. He also got the Best Fighter Award 2022 from the Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sardar Kultar Singh Sandhwan honoured two International martial arts players, Karanveer Singh and Ekamveer Singh, of the federation, who won a Gold Medal in the National Sikh Games 2022, New Delhi. Earlier, Sandeep Garg, SSP Mohali, had also honoured some of the players.
Sardar Sharanjit Singh, President of Budo Kai Do Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India, also honoured Ekamveer Singh by giving him prize money of Rs 1 lakh. He said that he was very happy that the players of the federation have won medals not only in national but also in international level competitions.
Federation members, present on the occasion included RP Sharma (Coach), Ajit Singh ( Vice President), Yash Kamal Sharma (Cashier), Mukesh Kumar (National Media Incharge) and Monika Kamboj.
