Chandigarh-based entrepreneur Nagina Bains was felicitated by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat from whom she received the ‘Excellence in Women Empowerment Award’ at the 5th Entrepreneur and Achievers Awards-2024 function held at Hotel Mount View. The event was organized by the Media Federation of India and Public Relations Council of India.

“I am really pleased to receive this rare honour from Gujarat Governor Shri Acharya Devvrat. This is a recognition of what I have been able to humbly  do for the society and the country. The Entrepreneur and Achievers Award will further motivate me to work harder towards the  cultural and economic growth  of India,” said Nagina Bains, who  is also the immediate past chairperson of the CII’s Indian Women Network(IWN).

A Graduate in Psychology and Masters in Sociology, Nagina Bains also holds a diploma in Mass Communications from PU.  She has several years of experience  in a multitude of industries .She has had an illustrious career in TV and print media both as an anchor and writer.

Nagina Bains,  has combined her love for education and passion for guiding students into a venture -‘Testler’. The organisation  is curated to carve out higher education and career niches for students by offering them cutting edge educational advisory services. She feels that this is the time when we have to create more and more job givers. “We need to promote entrepreneurial spirit among our students. We also have to let them know that they are capable of doing much more  by becoming  entrepreneurs,” reflected Nagina Bains.

Her no compromise, high integrity approach has earned her a reputation of setting unmatched standards in the education vertical. Nagina also delves into the arts and actively pursues and encourages all genres. She is an avid poetess too and likes to write in Urdu and Hindi. She is a Career Coach, Psychologist and English Language trainer of the highest caliber. Nagina is an active Rotarian too.
