Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation, keeping in mind the the importance of public welfare, organized a  ‘Bhandara’, or Community Kitchen, here . The Foundation which is a Non-Governmental Organisation, is known for social service and also for its service rendererd to cows in distress.
The 74th Sarvajanik Bhandara was successfully organized in Industrial Area Phase-1 of Panchkula under the leadership of  Amitabh Rungta, Founder  of Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation. Many ‘Bhandaras’ have been organized by the Foundation earlier also.
Members of the Rungta family and volunteers helped in the arrangement of food distribution in the ‘Bhandara’. Among the main volunteers were Anupama Rungta, Chaitanya Rungta, Pragati Rungta, Deepali Rungta, Sukhpal Singh, and Suresh Jangra.
