A thematic assembly was organised for the celebration of Baisakhi at Ankur School, Sector-14. The teachers highlighted about the importance of Baisakhi festival and told students regarding this main festival of Punjab. Baisakhi is not only a harvest festival but it also marks the foundation of the Khalsa Panth by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Melodious songs and dance performance by students took over the celebration. Principal Dr Parminder Duggal wished all the students ‘Happy Baisakhi’ and shed light upon the importance of celebration of festivals. She told that these celebrations add colour and joy to our lives.
