DIVYA AZAD

Sidhu Moosewala’s birthday cake cutting ceremony at his home had a picture which was fed cake by his parents. It is actually a mixed media painting, not a picture. The painting was made by Tricity artist Peaush Panesar and was gifted to Sidhu’s parents before his Birthday. That painting was the first painting made by Piyush for the Sidhu Moosewala Art Collection. Peaush launched the rest of his art collection to the general public on a digital platform today at Chandigarh Press Club. Former MLA of Mansa Sukhwinder Singh Aulakh graced the occasion with his presence. There are total 6 paintings in this art collection which are mixed media art, canvas painting etc. Peaush had also put his paintings on display at Sidhu’s Haveli (Mansa) on his birthday this year.

While giving information, Peaush said that people can see this collection at the moment on www.themischiffers.io website. Soon the paintings will be live for the general public through a Musical exhibition. The exhibition will be held in October in Chandigarh where people will find plenty of music and entertainment along with paintings.

Peaush Panesar is a mixed media artist who has been working for the past 9 years. Apart from Sidhu’s paintings, he has created more than 50 lifestyle and wedding artworks, which have received much love from the audience so far.

Talking about paintings, Peaush said that I always wanted to work with Sidhu Bhai. I started making paintings using my skills but by the time I could reach him the tragic incident had already happened. The news of his death suddenly broke my morale. I decided to gift the first painting I had made to his parents.

He further said that after meeting his parents, I felt a sense of belonging. Meeting them once again filled me with enthusiasm. I was determined to complete my collection now. It took a lot of time and hardwork but I completed my collection and today with their blessings I am making my entire collection available to general public on the digital platform.

I have made these paintings out of love and tribute to Sidhu Bhai. I want to keep him alive forever through my paintings. I am happy that I received the love and blessings of his parents Balkaur Sidhu and Charan Kaur ji, due to which my collection has come in front of the world today.
