A tricity based NGO, Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation organised the 93rd ‘bhandara’, or community kitchen, for the welfare of the needy people at Industrial Area Phase 1, Panchkula here.

Speaking on the occasion, Amitabh Rungta who is a social worker and founder of Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation, said, “Distributing food is the highest noble cause. Every individual who is financially capable should make a food donation a part of his life. It is the best way to serve society.”

During the event Rungta along with his supporters and foundation members Anupama Rungta, Chaitanya Rungta, Pragati Rungta, Deepali Rungta, Sukhpal Singh, Suresh Jangra, Nidhi Sandhu, Raju Paswan, Pooja, Mintu Mishra, Sushant Seema and others participated in the 93rd bhandara with full enthusiasm.
