KONE upbeat on expansion in North India; Opens office in Ludhiana

KONE Elevators India, a fully owned subsidiary of KONE Corporation, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has expanded its presence in North India with the opening of a sales and service office in Ludhiana today.


Located at SCF 41, Rajguru Nagar, Ludhiana, Punjab, this new facility covers all aspects such as sales, installation, service, Annual Maintenance Contract and modernization, to support increasing customer demand and expectations in Ludhiana. It will also serve as a complete and seamless experience for their customers. 
Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Amit Gossain, Managing Director, KONE Elevators India shared, ”With the Indian economy growing, increased urbanization and projects like affordable housing, we see good opportunities. Ludhiana is one of the fastest progressing districts of Punjab, and has shown a significant rise in the number of industries in the recent years. KONE India already enjoys a good reach in this market. And with this new facility, we will get even closer to our Customers in Ludhiana. North India and the surrounding areas are a very important market for us and this new office is in accordance with our strategy of ‘Sustainable success with customers’ to ensure a stronger connect with them in this area. We work closely with our customers and partners which helps create great experiences for visitors and residents alike.”


KONE India constantly aims to contribute to better tomorrows in the communities that they serve and has initiated many CSR initiatives in the areas of education and environment actions. Their Green Dream Project was initiated with the objective of sensitizing the general public on key environmental issues. They recently inaugurated the wall paintings in India’s Heritage City – Chandigarh, in line with the Swachh Bharat Mission.
