ICSSR sponsored National Seminar on Socio-Economic Impact of Demonetization of Currency in India

ICSSR sponsored one day National seminar on Socio-Economic Impact of Demonetization of Currency in India was organised by Post Graduate department of Economics, DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. A.K. Saihjpal. A special guest lecture was given by Professor Balwinder Singh Tiwana, Punjabi University, Patiala. These speakers gave an impact on the topic with their valuable ideas.

Also Prof. Gulshan, Dr. Nitin Arora, Dr. Sumita Sharma and Dr. Suman Makkar also participated  in the seminar. Participants put forth their point view on different aspects related to demonetization of currency and ended with a healthy discussion. 40 papers were presented in this seminar. More than 200 researchers and academicians participated in this seminar. Dr. B.C. Josan appreciated the efforts of department of Economics and congratulated the faculty and staff for the successful organization of the seminar. He also motivated the researchers and academicians to participate in more such seminars and conferences and come up with new ideas for the growth of nation.
