Dr Sumita Misra, IAS, Chairperson of Chandigarh Literary Societey and an author, along with author Ms Lippi Parida, released the latest book “I Can, I Shall Win” by Col D S Cheema, here today at the Chandigarh Press Club.
A prolific writer, columnist and author of 15 books, management trainer, and a former Indian army office, Col D S Cheema is one of the most sought after speaker and trainer at various institutions of repute.
Speaking on the occasion in conversation with the motivational speaker and author Vivek Atray, Col Cheema said that he believes that Indian youth is the best hope for our country’s better future, but the need of the hour amidst information overload is for them to take full responsibility of their lives.
Dr Sumita Misra congratulating Col D S Cheema for not only advising but also showing the readers the ‘how’ part of it, said that the youth today needs handholding and procrastination amidst over dependence on technology is restraining them from realizing their full potential.
Lippi Parida commended the author and shared how Col Cheema’s interaction with youth during a lit fest germinated the idea of expanding on the subject he is so good at, and said that the practical tips would be of immense use to every reader.
Vaibhav Mehndiratta of Abhishek Publications, the publishers of the book, said that he has seen Col Cheema for the past several years and is motivated and inspired by his level of energy and zest for life.
