UTCA T20 cricket league enters the semi finals stage as Leisure Zone will take on Rose Zone while Sukhna Zone will lock horns against Rock Zone.
Rock Zone registered a comfortable six wicket win over Sukhna Zone in a league played at Sector 6 Cricket Stadium on Friday. Amit Shukla (4/20) reduced Rock Zone at 89/7 in the stipulated twenty overs. Harshul ( 32) was the top scorer for the side. In reply, Sukhna Zone surpassed the target in the 14th over for the loss of four wickets. Nehal (29) was the highest scorer. Amit Shukla was awarded the man of the match.
In another match of the day, Terrace Zone defeated Leisure Zone by 22 runs. Terrace Zone scored 132 /7 with the fine contribution from Nippur Sharda (64). In reply, the deadly bowling spell from man of the match skipper Bhagmender Lathair (4/24) restricted the opposition to 115/9. Arpit Pannu added 34 runs.
