Today the former union minister Harmohan Dhawan and President of the Rural Chandigarh Jan Kalyan Manch Jujjhar singh badheri along with senior activists of the rural manch met the deputy commissioner Mr. balaji and submitted the memorandum regarding the demolition drive in the villages. Mr. Balaji said that the registration of smaller plots outside the lal dora has been stopped. He further assured that no harassment will be done to the residents who had built their houses in the past and new construction will not be allowed.
Mohinder Singh, vinod kumar, udey, jarnail singh, jaspal singh jassi, baldev singh, siri ram, sonu, avtar singh, satinder pal singh and others accompanied them.
