The Punjab Federation of University and College Teachers’ Organisations (PFUCTO) has expressed its deep concern at the delay in the appointment of two members to the three member Punjab Educational Tribunal. These vacancies have made the tribunal non-functional. This is causing great hardship to the affected persons seeking judicial redressal of their grievances.

Dr Jagwant Singh, General Secretary, PFUCTO has written a letter to Capt. Amarinder Singh, Chief Minister, Punjab highlighting the issue.  He said, ‘The absence of the two members has made the tribunal non-functional and hundreds of employees are suffering because of this delay. I request the CM to make at least one appointment at the earliest so that the Tribunal starts functioning.’
