Committed to serve the people of Punjab, Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd. (ZHL), Asia’s largest private Emergency Medical Service (EMS) provider, managing 108 Ambulance services, today donated 100 stretchers to Punjab Health Systems Corporation at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences, Phase-6, Mohali. The stretchers shall be utilised in the civil hospitals across the districts by PHSC to ensure quick transfer of cases to emergency. The ceremony took place in the presence of Chief Guest of the Event, IAS Neelima, MD, Punjab Health Systems Corporation, Dr. Suman Bali, Director, Dr. Gurinderjeet Kaur, Director Finance, Dr. Bhavneet Bharti, Director Principal, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. Sukhdeep, Deputy Director, Dr. Vishal Garg, Nodal Officer, PHSC, Dr. Adarshpal Kaur, Civil Surgeon, Mohali, Dr. Navdeep Singh Saini, MS, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. Parvinderpal Kaur, DMC, Mr. Jitendra Sharma, Head of Govt. Business, India, ZHL , and Mr. Manish Batra, Project Head, ZHL, Punjab.
The stretcher trolleys will assist in the mobility of patients in the hospital premises, along with that help mitigate the problem of basic essential hospital equipment’s. Stretchers will provide patients a safe and quick way to move easily. Considering the 4th wave of Covid besides dengue and malaria, stretchers will help hospitals to augment their infrastructure and basic facilities.

The stretcher trolleys will help in improving the patient care service at the government hospitals and at the same time improve basic infrastructure facility.
