The Institute celebrated 9th day of  ParyatanParv with zeal and fervour by organising a “Rally on Tourism”. About 200 students along with Principal, faculty and staff members enthusiastically participated in the event.  Through the rally, the Institute emphasised to increase public awareness on tourism with a special focus on sustainable tourism development, cleanliness of tourist sites and cordial behaviour by the local population towards tourists. Students carrying colourful banners and placards displaying slogans and messages on positive aspects of tourism, pictures of unique tourism attractions of the city beautiful, participated with enthusiasm chanting “AtithiDevoBava, ParyatankiUnnatihaiDesh Ki Unnati, ParyatanKaRakhoDhyantabhiBanegadesh Mahan” and so on.

Mrs. BhartiTyagi, Principal of the institute flagged off the rally from Government museum and Art Gallery. The participants completed the distance of about 4 kms to Open Hand monument by marching through the streets having picturesque surroundings. The rally concluded with a overall message that strives to bring benefits, both economic and social to local communities by enabling interaction between tourist and the population.
