Women’s day is celebrated every year worldwide to show respect, appreciation and love towards women for their economic, political and social achievements. To celebrate International Women’s Day, Library of DAV College Sector-10, Chandigarh organised a signature campaign on “Women: from Parda to Pride of Nation”.College Librarian Mrs. Deepti Madaan motivated the students to express, excel and empower themselves and inspire others. The students participated in great number and expressed their views on a range of issues concerning women. Various aspects of a woman’s persona were glorified. Principal Dr. B.C. Josan extended his best wishes for the all round progress of the girl students of the College.
