Keeping in mind the public welfare, the social organisation, Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation, organised a bhandara or ‘Community Kitchen’ here . The institution is known for social service and also takes care of cows in need.
This ‘Bhandara’ was successfully organised in the Industrial Area Phase-1 of Panchkula under the leadership of Amitabh Rungta, Founder of the NGO Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation. Many bhandaras have been held by the NGO earlier also. This was the 75th Bhandara, and it benefited people at large.
Anupama Rungta, Chaitanya Rungta, Pragati Rungta, Deepali Rungta, Sukhpal Singh, Suresh Jangra and other volunteers helped in distributing food at the ‘Bhandara’.
