On World Kindness Day of November 13, 2017, School students of many prominent Schools of tricity of Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali, will be sending a truck load of new woolens for School children’s and hundreds of greetings for soldiers in Jammu & Kashmir. This is being organized by Independent Schools Association (ISA), Yuvsatta and Peace Club of KB DAV Sr. Sec. Public School in association with Indian Army who are arranging transportation and final distribution part.

‘A formal function will be organized at KB DAV Sr. Sec. Public School on November 13 to formally flag-off the Army truck containing gifts of friendship and goodwill. This ‘children to children’ endeavour of love, friendship and patriotism will certainly generate much needed warmth and goodwill to further sustain and strengthen the spirit of one India, which we all admire and adore a lot.’, shared Madhu Bahl, Regional Director of DAV Schools and a major partner in the initiative.

Emphasizing on gandhian thought of ‘Be the Change’, RD Singh, Secretary of Independent Schools Association of Chandigarh and Principal of New Public School added that peaceful coexistence is only possible if we inculcate in young ones the concern and compassion for others. And through this initiative our School students tried to do this inspiring change for good of all.

‘Now for last four years Yuvsatta volunteers are coordinating this programme and with many prominent schools of tricity on board, the results are soul-satisfying’, said Pramod Sharma, Coordinator of Yuvsatta.
