PGI Alumnus Dr. Rajinderjit Bajwa joins Aryans Institute of Nursing

Renowned Nursing Professor, Dr. Rajinderjit Kaur Bajwa recently joined as Principal at Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, near Chandigarh. The institute offers 3 years GNM & 2 years ANM course which are approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) & affiliated with Punjab Nursing Registration Council (PNRC).

Dr. Bajwa has earned name in clinical field as well as in teaching during her experience of last 22 years. Dr Bajwa while speaking said, “I am happy and excited to work in Aryans Institute of Nursing wherein, the students possess an innovative approach as the healthcare industry is transforming day by day and need polishing their skills to emerge as better nursing professionals”

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while welcoming her said that Nurses are the most trusted healthcare professionals as they are with patients throughout the continuum of life. Nursing occupies the largest bulk of the health care force but the biggest challenge posed by this profession is staff shortage.

Kataria added that demand for these paramedical courses has increased post Covid as the increase in number of patient with variety of diseases and the demand for immense treatment has paved the way for Nursing Professional to provide better quality to human health care.

It is, to be mentioned that Dr. Bajwa has done M. Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing from PGIMER, Chandigarh and Doctorate in Psychology from Panjabi University Patiala, in year of 2002. She has taught nursing students in Rajindra Hospital; Nursing Medical College, Patiala & many other reputed educational institutes. 

Bajwa also has academic experience of more than 12 years. She has published various research papers, attended workshops & conferences at national & international levels. She has done training from renowned central Mental Hospital, Dunduram, Dublin, Ireland in the field of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.
