Panjab University Rose festival inaugurated by PU Vice Chancellor

Panjab University (PU) Rose Festival started with great fanfare and enthusiastic public participation at PU Rose Garden. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Arun Kumar Grover inaugurated the 8th PU Rose Festival.

Thousands of people and students visited the Prof. R.C. Paul Rose Garden at PU. The Rose Festival will have series of cultural functions and competitions.
School students and University students performed at the Inaugural function. PU Registrar, Col. GS Chadha(Retd.), PU Dean Students Welfare, DR. Emanual Nahar, Controller of Examinations, Parvinder Singh,  PU Fellows, officers, teachers and large number of staff members and students participated in the inaugural function.

The University Campus was in a festival mood. The welcome gates, Flash Light and beautified gardens, flower pots set the celebratory mood in the campus. The photography aspirants were seen taking selfies and photographs with the blooming roses.

The students were seen taking selfies at the selfie point, which has been created by fixing self made colorful butterfly. Cultural functions marked the day.
