NGO sets up COVID care Centre in Mohali

Continuing its efforts to help Covid-19 affected patients during the 2nd wave of Coronavirus, tricity based not for profit charitable trust- ‘Serve Humanity Serve God’ has increased its efforts to provide relief to COVID patients by setting up a Covid Care Centre in association with district administration Mohali.

Established under its Covid Aid Initiative at Community Hall, Sector 69, Mohali, the Centre comprises a total of 20 beds out of which  12 are oxygen beds. The centre is equipped with protection kits for medical staff and boasts of a variety of medical facilities.

While giving details about the facility, founder of Serve Humanity Serve God, Mr. Swarnjeet said, “Covid-19 dedicated facility established by Serve Humanity Serve God has round the clock medical team comprising of doctors, paramedical staff, 24*7 ambulance facility and cooked food facility both for patients and for the medical staff. Mr. Swarnjeet further said “The Covid Center is well equipped with medical facilities which include oxygen cylinders and other biomedical facilities. We are in the process of scaling up the visiting area facility for the family members of patients.”

Dr. Vijay Bhagat, SMO, Mohali who has inspected the Covid center said ” The initiative of Serve Humanity Serve God to help people amidst the 2nd wave of covid is quite appreciable.”

Serve Humanity Serve God aims to not only serve the patients but also to increase their immunity to lead a safe and healthy life ahead. Patients will be given fruits and food according to a diet chart, all free of cost.
