The Greece Hellenic Cricket Federation travelled miles with a clear range of view to give a better opportunity for the young hidden and unnoticed cricketers who can’t find an arena to explore themselves. 8 Nation Euro Cup, four chosen and emerging Indian and the trials for the Euro Cup will be conducted at Chandigarh. The date for the trial has been set at 15thNovember.

On the announcement of the Nation Euro Cup The president of Hellenic Cricket Federation Mr. Iosif Nikitas states said “India is the country where cricket is played and enjoyed by most of the population and Indian cricket team is known for its extraordinary performance and records in the history of cricket. Yet most of the people don’t get a chance to play internationally and this platform will give a chance to emerging cricketer to show their potential to the world”

Adding to it vice president of Corfu Chamber of Commerce Mr. Georgios A Kolytas said “this is a way of sharing culture and building neutralist relationship with India through sports. There has been 15 years of contract with HRSD events and with All Cricket Developing Rights of Greece. In long terms schools, college and university teams are invited to Greece to play with Greece National Team (ICC approved) under sports exchange programme which is beneficial for emerging cricket players of both the countries. The bilateral meets between India and Greece should have very positive results for both the nation’s cricketers.
