On the Fourth Day of the Seven days Faculty Development Programme organized by the Post Graduate Department of Public Administration, DAV College, Sector-10, Chandigarh under the aegis of RUSA and State Directorate UT, Chandigarh, two eminent personalities from Panjab university Chandigarh, addressed the Faculty attending the programme.
The first technical session was addressed by Dr. Deepak Singh from the department of Political Science, Panjab University, Chandigarh a noted author who spoke brilliantly on “Qualitative Research and its Application”. He talked about the use of narratives, ethnography and case studies as a tool of conducting more realistic research. He also compared the benefits of Qualitative and Quantitative research. This was followed by an interesting discussion with participants.
The second technical session followed after a tea break, was addressed by Dr. Sudhir Sharma from department of Public Administration at Panjab University, Chandigarh, a noted academician who spoke on the concept of “Good Governance” followed by an interactive session and discussion. Both the talks were appreciated by the faculty participants.
