Delhi Football Club (DFC) registered their fourth consecutive win in the I league second division against Jagat Singh Palahi at the Minerva Academy Ground in Mohali.

Having won their previous three games, DFC were high on confidence and put out a strong lineup yet again, with the likes of Nitish in goal and Balwant, the captain, playing upfront. Youngsters like Abhay, Gourav, and Kartik were in the lineup as well.

DFC started the game on the front foot as they pushed Jagat Singh Palahi back into their own half and created plenty of chances. Despite creating plenty of chances in the first half, DFC were unable to get on the scoresheet.
It was 0-0 at halftime.

However, immediately at the start of the second half, DFC launched an unstoppable attack, which was finished off excellently by their talisman Balwant Singh in the 49th minute.

DFC were on course to getting the three points and got an all-important second goal with 15 minutes to play, as Fahad netted in to make it 2-0.

With that, DFC notched up their fourth successive win in the competition. Before this, they beat Techtro Swades United 4-1, Mumbai City FC 4-0 both home and away.
