The NSS unit of DAV College today joined hands with GMSS, Dhanas to spread the message of Making India Clean & Green, under Swachhata Pakhwara 2017. Awareness rally was organized in the markets and colonies of Dhanas to mark the mission. Poster competition was organized in Govt. Model School on the same theme and the winners were awarded prizes by the school and college NSS Program Officers Dr. Kulvir Dhindsa, Dr. Raman Kamboj & Mr. Ramesh in the presence of the School Incharge. Nukkad Natak was also staged to highlight the importance of clean surroundings by the college NSS volunteers. The star of the event was a small girl student of the school who spoke about the Swachhata Mission, though she herself is unable to see the beauty of nature with her own eyes.
