CHIAL wins Two Airport Council International World awards

Best Airport by size and region in Asia Pacific; Best Airport in "Best Environment and Ambience by size"

Chandigarh International Airport Limited (CHIAL) has been in the news for all the good reasons. Yet again, it has made us all proud by bagging awards from the Airport Council International World as it revealed the winners of its world renowned Airport Service and Quality Awards which recognize those airports around the world that delivers the best customer experience in the opinion of the passengers. Chandigarh International Airport awarded as Best Airport by size and region in Asia Pacific (2-5 million passenger category). Also it is awarded as the Best Airport in “Best Environment and Ambience by Size” (2-5 million passenger category).

The Chandigarh International Airport building is in itself a master piece and if you look inside it, you’ll know why this airport has been awarded with the best construction award. The awesome landscape and interiors at Chandigarh International Airport have been a major factor for winning the prestigious award under the category of ‘Best Environment and Ambience by size’ (2-5 million passengers category).
The new building for Chandigarh International Airport is a world class building which was inaugurated by Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India in September 2015. The International Airport building in itself is a world class structure. It is comfortable and spacious, considering its points it bagged a price under the category of ‘Best Airport by Size and Region’ (2-5 million passengers category).
