PRAKRITI – The Environmental Society of PGGCG – 11 organized following events as a part of “Jal Shakti Abhiyan – 2019” being observed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD) under “Swachta Pakhwada 2019” (1ST September to 15th September, 2019) under Prime Minister’s mission “JAL SHAKTI ABHIYAAN”. The theme for the same was water conservation and make India free from single use plastic.

Chief Guest of the function was Principal Prof. Dr. Anita Kaushal. She encouraged students and faculty members to save water and minimize the use of single use Plastic. She administered pledge to students and faculty members on the themes “water conservation” and “Making India free from single use plastic”. In Group task each team member very vividly explained water crises and provided solutions to conserve water. To create awareness about the sustainable use of water a documentary was shown to the students and faculty members. Following are the results of competitions:
