A Book Exhibition and Interactive session to commemorate and pay homage to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, was organised by Readers’ Club of College Library in collaboration with the Department of Hindi at GGDSD College Chandigarh. There was poetry recitations by the students on the life of Martyrs. The books on the life of Freedom fighters and National struggle for Independence were displayed. Participants took keen interest in content on display and held a detailed discussion on the supreme sacrifices made by the national heroes. Principal Dr. Bhushan K. Sharma hailed the efforts of the College Library to have offered an opportunity to the students to reconnect them with their rich heritage and past legacies.
