Blood Donation Society of Post Graduate Govt. College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh organised a Blood Donation Camp along with NSS Units and Alumni Association of the college. The Camp was organised in collaboration with Department of Transfusion Medicine PGI, Chandigarh.
Prof. Anita Kaushal, Principal of the college inaugurated the Camp and encouraged the students to be a part of the noble cause. The camp was jointly sponsored by Inner Wheel Club Mid Town Chandigarh and Nescafe.
A total of 68 units were collected. Arrangements were made for refreshments and each donor was accorded with a Thank You badge, a certificate from PGI and a gift. The camp received an overwhelming response from the college staff, students and ended on a successful note.
