Bharat Vikas Parishad North 2 today celebrated the festival of Teej at community centre in Sector 15 here. The festivities were marked with patriotic songs to pay homage to martyrs.
The chief guest on the occasion was H.R. Narang, State President, Bharat Vikas Parishad. Meanwhile, S.C. Aggarwal, President of Bharat Vikas Parishad North 2, T.R. Wadhwa, State Secretary and Sanjeev Gupta, Secretary, were also present.
Children also gave a wonderful performance on the occasion. A cultural programme was also organised on the occasion. S.C. Aggarwal, President of Bharat Vikas Parishad North 2, while speaking on the occasion said the BVB unit has distributed books, stationary, uniforms and shoes to 100 underprivileged children. Besides, an eye check up camp was also held at Sector 23 Senior Secondary School and free spectacles were given to the needy children.
