Adarsh Public (Smart) school Sec-20B, Near Masjid Chandigarh celebrated “Basant Panchami” in the school premises. The festival was dedicated to Goddess Sarswati known as the Goddess of art and knowledge. On this Occasion “Havan” was performed. Acharya Principal Ramesh Ji and Shastri Vinod ji performed the “Havan” and apprised the students about the significance of “Basant Panchami”.
Teachers and students of the junior wing came dressed in yellow and offered yellow flowers to the Goddess Sarswati.
Principal Sunita Thakur wished the students and teachers on this special day of nature and distributed yellow “Parsad.”
