Pre-primary students of Ankur School in Sector 14 here celebrated mothers day. The teachers on this occasion highlighted on the importance of mothers in the lives of children.
On this occasion the students recited poems, sang songs, etc which won applause from the teachers. They also made mothers day greeting cards for their mothers.
The principal Dr. Parminder Duggal said mother is the first teacher of a child as she teaches a child how to live life. She added mothers love is selfless and is there in all ups and downs of life. She told the students they should always respect their mothers.
