AIESEC in Chandigarh in collaboration with Chitkara University  organised the  “Youth Speak Forum” here. Youth Speak Forum was a virtual event that gave speakers an opportunity to speak about ideas that matter and issues that need solutions by implementing Sustainable Development Goals.

The theme of this year’s event was People, Passion, Possibilities.

Fredrik Haren, Global Keynote Speaker who is also the author of “The Idea Book” included in the “100 Best Business Books of All Time” inspired the students through his talk on human creativity, why is it important and what we can all do to become more creative. He also laid stress on the fact that what it truly means to have a Global and a Human Mindset.

Bel Pesce, Brazilian entrepreneur and author, an MIT graduate in Electrical Engineering/Computer science and Management science and also a sparking TEDx Speaker delivered a heartening talk on “Inspiration. Ideas and Potential” and how one can live a purposeful life filled with magical moments that we can create for ourselves. 

Monica Gill, an American born Punjabi Model,  talked about the cultural changes she went through during her stays in both the countries and how her passion allowed her to continue her work even when she had taken a different career path then the one her parents envisioned.

Ripu Daman Bevli, An environmentalist and the person who brought the concept of Plogging to India took students through his personal life journey from being a studious student to getting suspended from college to having a corporate job and leaving all benefits for the only goal of making the world a healthier and cleaner place.

Abhimanyu Singh Raghav, MTV Roadies star and the youngest certified health and wellness coach, talked about his journey from becoming a fitness fanatic to a coach and being approached to star in a reality TV show just at the age of 21. 

Pankhuri Gidwani, one of the youngest Miss Femina Grand Finalist, talked about her journey exploring pageantry while being a student, having been the representative of India at a young age at international events and still managing the time to complete her college while successfully modelling and acting full time.

A  Panel Discussion was also held, which included participants, Aryan Mishra : Young Astronomer and a TEDx Speaker, Divya Ravichandran : Co-Founder Skrap, Ankit Srivastava, Author of the bestselling book, “The Social Media Marketing and Branding , The Micro MBA” and Nagendra Bisht, Chief People Officer, Aussizz Group.
