25 donated blood in Market Badheri Sector 41D Chandigarh

A blood donation camp was organized by Vishvas Foundation today at Market Badheri Sector 41D Chandigarh. This camp was organized by Shri Jeet Ram Sardana in the memory of his wife Late Smt. Usha Rani. SDS Photography, Glorify International and Indian Red Cross Society Punjab State Branch Chandigarh supported the camp. Special care was taken for social distance, masks and sanitization in the camp. The team of Blood Bank Panchkula Welfare Trust collected 25 units of blood under the supervision of Dr. Shruti Singla.

Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas, General Secretary of Vishvas Foundation said that the camp was inaugurated by Shri Jeet Ram Sardana. On this occasion, Hardeep Singh Councilor Municipal Corporation Badheri, Ward No. 30 of Chandigarh AAP candidate Vikram Singh Pundir, Dinesh Sardana, Surendra, Ravi, Mukesh Chauhan, members of Sardana family were also present with him. Blood donor Surendra donated blood for the 75th time in the camp.

Dinesh Sardana told that in the past there were many misconceptions like weakness in the body and getting sick due to blood donation, but today these misconceptions have been dispelled and our youth are donating blood in large numbers. It is a matter of happiness that today our daughters are also not lagging behind boys in the matter of donating blood and themselves are coming forward and donating blood. Timely availability of blood can save priceless lives. If we can save someone’s life through blood donation, then there can be no greater favor than this.

All the blood donors who came to the camp were encouraged by giving appreciation letters, masks, soaps and gifts. On this occasion, Rakesh Kumari from Indian Red Cross Society Punjab State Branch Chandigarh and from Vishvas Foundation Avinash Sharma, Varsha Sharma, Varinder Gandhi, Neeraj Yadav, Vishal Kunwar doctors of Blood Bank and other dignitaries were also present.
