यहां रेलवे स्टेशन पर शुक्रवार को एक व्यक्ति से दुर्लभ प्रजाति की छिपकली बरामद की गई। इस छिपकली की कीमत 20 करोड़ रुपये बताई जा रही है। गिरफ्तार व्यक्ति से पूछताछ की जा रही है। प्राप्त जानकारी के मुताबिक, अभी ये साफ नहीं हो पाया है कि उक्त शख्स कहां से इस छिपकली को लेकर आया था और कहां लेकर जा रहा था। इसको लेकर पुलिस जांच में जुटी है और गिरफ्तार शख्स से पूछताछ जारी है। अभी तक गिरफ्तार शख्स ने किसी तरह की जानकारी देने से इंकार कर दिया।
उधर, इस अजीब छिपकली के बरामद होने की खबर जैसे जैसे फैलती गई लोग दुर्लभ प्रजाति की छिपकली को देखने के लिए स्टेशन पर पहुंचने लगे। गौर हो कि कुछ दिन पहले बंगाल में एक रेलवे स्टेशन से रेलवे पुलिस फोर्स ने 1500 कछुए बरामद किए थे। इन कछुओं को 35 बैगों में भरकर ट्रेन के डिब्बे में रखा गया था। जब ट्रेन मालदा रेलवे स्टेशन पर रुकी तो वहां पर चेकिंग के दौरान तीन व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार कर उनसे येे बैग बरामद किए गए।
