Under the guidelines of Trident Group founder Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, an assistance amount of Rs 11 lakh has been contributed for the upcoming Saras Mela Sangrur-2022. The Cheque was handed over today by Admin Head, Trident Group, Sh Rupinder Gupta, to Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur Sh. Varjit Walia.
Shri Gupta informed that this year state-level ‘Saras Mela’ is being organized by the Punjab Government at Ranbir College Sangrur from October 8 to October 17. He said that Saras Mela will provide a special platform for the presentation of the artworks made by the Artisans. This year more than 300 artisans of various products from all over India and more than 80 from Punjab are expected to participate in this mela. Apart from this, teams from different states of India will present their cultural specialties.
It is worth mentioning that Trident Group has been contributing from time to time in the development works in the villages of the area and providing employment to the youth of the area. During the Corona pandemic, Trident Group worked relentlessly to help the residents of the area and extended full support to the State government and the Barnala district administration.
