Sumit Dutt and Dream Book Production present in association with Leostride Entertainment released the trailer of their upcoming Punjabi film ‘Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh’. This Dream Book Production and Sumit Dutt presentation film stars Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta in the lead roles.
Directed by Karan R Guliani, Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh is a romantic comedy. The film will bring Sargun Mehta and Gippy Grewal on the screen together for the first time.
Sumit Dutt from Leostride Entertainment said “We have worked on many projects in the Bollywood industry. And this is the first time that we have tried something out of our comfort zone. As much as we are nervous, we are also very enthralled and excited to see how the audience responds when they see this film with a unique concept.”
Actress Sargun Mehta said,“I am really excited that I got a chance to be a part of this film. The concept of the film is extremely fresh and something that the audience has never seen before. And the fact that Gippy and I have won the best actor and best actress award respectively is making the audience look forward to the release of the film even more .”
Actor Gippy Grewal commented, “Punjabi cinema is experimenting with the ideas and concepts now. We take pride in the fact that we are making people laugh and keeping them entertained throughout. We have worked tirelessly day and night on this film, and hope that the audience appreciates the work the entire team has done.”
Director of the film Karan R Guliani said, “With the industry’s two best actors on board, the entire project is going to be a fun ride. Both the actors are at their best and many times have even surprised the team and crew with their out of the box ideas and creativity. But the audience will get to know the chemistry between the two once the film releases.”
Munish Sahni’s Omjee Groups is distributing the film worldwide. Chandigarh-Amritsar-Chandigarh will hit the screens on 24th May 2019.
