The Chandigarh unit of Akhil Bhartiya Mahila Aggarwal Sammelan organized Teej Festival on Saturday under the guidance of its president doctor Sheenu Agarwal. About 100 women of tricity participated in this program organized at Kalagram, Manimajra. On this occasion, Haryana vidhan sabha speaker Sh. Gian chand gupta Nd his wife Bimla Gupta, Anju Goyal, wife of Panchkula’s Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal and Ranju Parsad ji (IPOS) head postmaster appreciated the organizers and said that such events are very important in preserving the heritage of the nation so that the future generations can also take pride in the national culture. Cultural performances, tambolas, games, open floor discs and refreshment sessions were organized which lasted for about three hours.
Anand Singla, President of Chandigarh Unit of Akhil Bhartiya Aggarwal Sammelan and its General Secretary Pardeep Bansal were also present on this occasion who emphasized on organizing such programs in near future to keep their members in one bond. Sammelan’s general secretary Pooja Mittal, organization secretary Shalini Goyal, Ishu Bansal, Babita Bansal Sushil Aggarwal and Sunil Goyal made significant contributions in making event successful and also expressed their gratitude to all the guests and participants who attended the evening.
