A Three Day Exhibition, ‘Summer Shopping Bonanza’ has kicked off at Kisan Bhawan, Sector 35, Chandigarh. The Mega Summer Fashion Exhibition has been organised by ‘Limelight Events’. The exhibition has brought a wide array of fine summer designer collections, jewelry and home décor items from different states of India, at very reasonable prices. “In fact, the uniqueness of the exhibition lies in the rock bottom prices on offer for the lifestyle products. The prices – are almost a steal for buyers. The products including designer wear can be picked up at heavy discounts which go up-to 60 per cent.” Said Ms. Gagan Arora, Co Founder, Limelight Events.
“More than 50 stalls have been put up at the exhibition. Apart from giving a price advantage to visitors, the other objective behind the exhibition is to bring India’s traditional artisans with their famous arts and embroidery on a single platform.” Said Jitender, Co Founder, Limelight Events.
The exhibition is a paradise for those looking for authentic Indian crafts and designer wear right from the weaver’s factory. Original Lucknawi chickan , Punjab’s enchanting Phulkari, authentic Kashmiri crafts, Chanderi etc all have been showcased.
Pari Creations, Razzi Collection, Jaipuri Collection, Mohini Collections and many more, have brought creative lines of chic summer wear in cool & light fabrics endowed with pastel & bright colours. The ensembles have been specially made with the harsh North Indian summer in mind.
There is International participation too. A stall from Thailand is making waves with its quirky and stylish Western wear brought from Thailand direct to the city.
There’s an attractive range of footwear to match with the fashionable summer wear at the exhibition. Fazilka’s renowned Punjabi juttis are available. The colorful traditional handicraft on the juttis is attracting a lot of attention.
Fashion accessories too are making quite a statement. The label ‘Shimmer’ is beckoning fashionistas with its eclectic range.
The exhibition is showcasing new & unconventional artistic works. Rajasthan has been represented by beautiful wood carved furniture, with a royal look. What’s more, for all those, who are looking forward to refurbishing the interiors of their homes, intricate and uniquely designed home décor items are available.
