Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh recently organized a one day fun trip for newly appointed Young trainees to boost their morale at Rose Garden, Shanti Kunj etc. Various Management Games, Fun quiz, Mimicry, acting activities were also organized. Staff of various streams including Engineering, Management, Degree, Education, Nursing, Law etc participated in various activities. Some tips on faculty development were also given on the day.

Ms Sukhaman Bath, Registrar Aryans Group while interacting with the Young trainees said that the program introduced effective approaches to teaching and also helped the teachers to identify their own strengths and areas for improvement. She suggested the teachers to balance their career and academic development and keep up the spirit of learning something new as and when they get the opportunity.

Bath further said that the overall aim of the trip was to give relieve to the new staff from the daily routine work, to share the ideas, to make new strategies, to strengthen the teaching abilities and to inculcate the co-curricular activities in the curriculum so as to make the teaching more interesting and absorbable for the students & to build the leadership in the teachers.

Ms Raman Rani, Principal, Aryans Group said that these kinds of faculty Development Programmes are need of the hour. Facultyfeels motivated and responsible to work more for the development of the students. The ultimate benefit of these programmes is gained the students only through their teachers.

Ms Sumedha, HOD, Management Dept organized various management games, general mental ability quiz, Antaakshri etc. She said that these kinds of trips and small activities are helpful to drive the teachers from the regular work and hectic schedule.

Mr. Anil Kuman (HOD, Mechanical Engineering); Ms Tejinder Kaur (HOD, Degree College); Ms Parul Guleria( HOD,Nursing Dept); Ms Veena, Mr. Amanpreet Singh, Ms Amarjot Kaur, Ms Arushi etc were also present on the occasion.
