The North Country Mall, Mohali, recently acquired by Virtuous Retail South Asia (VRSA), distributed more than 500 saplings to customers of the centre marking World Environment Day 2017. The team in association with the Punjab Pollution Board and volunteers from the city also planted trees around the boundary walls of the centre spread over 2 million sq. ft. The campaign stressed on the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
Children made an impassioned plea to save the planet while participating in art competitions asserting their views through creative slogans, cards and banners.
