A Talk by Swami Smaranananda Giri of Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS) of India was organised at the Infosys campus, Chandigarh Technology Park. Swami ji focussed on the benefits of meditation in combating Anxiety, Worry, Fear and Stress.  Each of us has to go through ups and downs in life and we can face these challenges by meditating regularly and being more calm, he said.

Over 250 professionals from Infosys and other IT companies located in the IT Park were present on the occasion. Vikas Ahuja head of Infosys Chandigarh welcomed Swami ji.

Swami ji taught meditation techniques based on the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda author of the spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi which has been translated into 51 languages across the world. Dr Suman Beri Chairperson of the Chandigarh centre of YSS and Mr Vivek Atray former DC Panchkula were also present.

Swami Smaranananda Giri is in Chandigarh for a 3 day programme of meditation and Satsanga at the Yogoda Satsanga Dhyana Kendra Sector 28 D Chandigarh being held from Feb 23 to 25.
