With restrictions being lifted in certain states allowing the beauty & salon trade to resume operations safely, JCB has swiftly put into action superior safety & hygiene protocols to complement the ‘New Normal’ that has taken over the industry. 3 weeks into business and JCB Bengaluru salons have received a very positive response from clients who are impressed by the precautionary measures undertaken by the French Beauty Giants. Despite the hindered circumstances, the salon chain is already trending towards 60% of footfall observed in a regular business month this season.

While the salons are under the strict scrutiny of their management teams to ensure healthy & hygiene on a daily basis, JCB is now shifting gears to ramp up their Home Salon Service vertical in Mumbai, Pune & Bengaluru. The need of the hour is to ensure maximum safety for the clients and employees in all ways possible. Samir Srivastav, CEO, JCB India says, “We are looking to commence our Home Salon Service division, JCB Home once the restrictions are eased out. We will observe the best in industry safety, hygiene & health measures and are using the finest tools, sanitization systems and protective gear for customer & employee safety. Permissions with management committees of residential societies are currently underway.”

JCB Home Services stand out from its counterparts as clients can avail services by on-duty salon experts in contrast to freelance, contractual professionals employed by other home servicing industries. JCB experts have extensively been trained on the New Home Servicing Protocols and are certified by the reputable Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council on Safety, Health & Hygiene norms. The professionals have been provided individual service kits that are first thoroughly checked by the JCB Task Force, established by the company to overlook safety at the salons. Post a health and hygiene check, the experts carry onto the designated appointments that are restricted to a few a day.

JCB in conjunction with its global beauty partners has also brought in innovative offerings that allow services to take place seamlessly with minimum skin contact. For e.g. waterless manicure and pedicure from Brazil that comes with a single-use kit of disposable tools, cream-based moisturizing gloves & boots ideal for observing cleanliness & hygiene.

Services such as massages, nail bar & other spa treatments have been temporarily restricted.
