I.S. Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School, Sec 21 here, organised an event to popularize science among students. The event saw nearly 300 students participate in multiple activities which engaged students,  to generate their interest in science. The students made posters and wrote essays  themed on science. They also  participated in a quiz on the topic ‘Science and Technology for sustainable future’.

“Our school is trying to develop a scientific temperament & thinking in students through a focus on science in academics and also in extracurricular activities. The idea is to make learning science interesting for students. The event made students show their creativity which helped them enjoy learning about  science, in a fun way.” Said Loveleen Bedi, Principal.

The event was held by the school with the collaboration of Chandigarh Renewable Energy and Science & Technology Department, CREST. Prizes were also given to the winners.
