Hindi Department of Post Graduate Govt. College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh celebrated Hindi-Day Fortnight which concluded today. Many competitions like Poetry-recitation, Poem-writing, Story writing, Essay writing, Declamation, Slogan-writing were organised during the fortnight to mark the occasion.

Prof. Rajinder Kaur Aneja, Chairperson (Retired), Department of Hindi, Government Mahindra College, Patiala, a well-known Hindi scholar presided over the function. In her Presidential remarks, Prof. Aneja stressed on the nature and significance of Hindi language and highlighted its emerging role in the contemporary context. She gave away the prizes to the winners of various competitions. Prof. Anita Kaushal, Principal of the college, congratulated the prize winners and motivated the students to give an appropriate direction to their creative potential.
