Adarsh Public Smart School (APS-20), Sector 20 B, Chandigarh organized the much awaited Fun and Food Fest -2019 in the school premises.
Former mayor of Chandigarh, Mrs Poonam Sharma was the chief guest, who along with the staff, parents and students paid tributes to the martyrs of “Pulwama terror attack” and observed two minutes silence for the peace of departed souls.
Students dedicated a heart touching skit and patriotic songs to the great martyred Jawans of CRPF. Mrs Poonam Sharma delivered a speech covering topics like “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”, drug abuse and crime against women.
Prinicipal Ms Sunita Thakur said, “Children enjoyed a lot during the fun and food fest. A number of fun and food stalls were arranged by the staff and the students.”
