Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in association with strategic partner TTS organized a workshop on “GST- Key Compliances & Challenges” here today.
Session was inaugurated by Kumar Gaurav Dhawan [IRS] Deputy Director-PGIMER. Rajan Datt [IRS] Additional Commissioner CGST Shimla interacted with trade members, resolved their grievances and assured to put forth the trade suggestions with CBIC.
CS Sanjay Malhotra (an eminent Indirect Tax Expert), who was the KeyNote Speaker shared challenging issues in GST, ways to overcome same & adherence to statutory compliances. He shared that regular updates at the GST portal by GSTIN has made tax compliance easier for taxpayers. He appreciated the recent weekly initiative of “Grievance and Feedback session” undertaken by GST Commissionerate Ludhiana, Chandigarh & Shimla. Other speakers include Dr. Baljit Singh Khara [IRS] Asst Director-NACIN Chandigarh, Rakesh Cajla (Advocate & Past president-PTBA), Shekhar Verma (Renowned Advocate- Pb & Haryana High Court).
Trade members appreciated the Taxpayers facilitation and knowledge awareness session organized by Ludhiana Commissionerate on regular basis.
G.B.Singh Regional Director-FICCI, Chandigarh has given warm welcome to the Members from CGST Office and Industry. He shared that CGST & SGST officers have always been supportive to implement the suggestions given by FICCI.
